Lot has been discussed about the Power of Acceptance or the importance of the word ‘Accept‘, and the power it endures, in different forums around the globe.
But the question is,
How can we utilize the Power of Acceptance?
‘Accept‘ – The word itself has become a cliche that people tend to ignore the great potential it has for a marvelous life.
Further, you will be overwhelmed to hear that just by the practice of using the power of acceptance, your life can change to be drastically beautiful.
Here, I had to use the words “drastically beautiful” to emphasize the impact it can have in our lives.
Consequently, let us elaborate for better understanding.
Let us take an example of travelling in a car to a long distance. The Traveler or the person travelling is doing nothing through out the journey. ‘Not nothing as in nothing.’
He/She might be checking their mobile, looking out of the window, enjoying the music by relating it to fantasy thoughts relevant to the song played, sleeping, etc.
But, ideally, he/she can still choose to do nothing and reach the destination anyhow.
The point here is even if the Traveler tend to do nothing in the journey, when he/she reaches the destination they seem to be completely tired and exhausted.
As if, all through the journey they were working hard to reach the destination.
It is a very subtle thing to observe.
Firstly, let us stop reading for few moments and take this opportune time to think on what exactly might have happened in the journey that led to this Tiredness.
Am sure you have some answers ready.

Let us dig into the root of this.
Does it happen that, ‘Just before the journey starts we are very excited to reach the destination, off-course, unless we were eagerly waiting to reach there.‘
And, when the journey started, we were expecting to reach the destination as early as possible.
So now the question is –
What exactly is this expectation?
Is it not a thought of all the wonderful things that we are gonna do when we reach the destination?
So does it not mean that during the journey, there is a thought running in the mind about the things that we are going to do in the future.
Have you ever given a thought to this? – 99% of the people spend their entire journey of life like this.
Further, let us dig in, to understand what exactly is happening here.
May be the traveler never enjoyed the moments of the journey, and the thought or the idea of things they gonna do once they reach the destination kept their minds occupied.
“This enigma of thoughtful joy is the real trap to be aware of.”
This jumbled up ‘thoughts of joy on one side‘ and ‘the reality of you being in that car‘ travelling creates a conflict between the body and mind.
And isn’t this what leads to the tiredness that we feel?
If this is the case, then isn’t tiredness a myth?
And, Here is the icebreaker between the conflict of body and mind.
That is ACCEPTANCE.
Now the big question is,
How to Accept in every moment?
First of all, this is not an overnight thing that suddenly you will start accepting from now on.
This is an art and you need to practice this art called as the “Art of Acceptance”.
In the beginning stages of this practice, at times you will remember and at other times you might forget then again remember and forget, and the story will go on.
Also it is a normal thing, that you will go through this phase. But be courageous and continue the practice.
Acceptance is a habit and to develop any habit, good or bad, it takes time.
So, you need to consistently practice this.
Then, with in no time, you will realize Acceptance to have become your habit.

Yes You read it right!
Power of Acceptance can be practiced by Eliminating these reasons from your Life. Secondly, it does not mean that the reasons are wrong. Well, they are absolutely right.
However, just by eliminating the reasons, you are leaving the mind with no other option but to stay calm. And you automatically feel that calm and peace of the moment. Which in turn will help you to harness the power of acceptance.
For example: I am reading this article because am reading this article; I am travelling because am travelling.
There is no reason for things to happen in our lives. It just happens and then we tag it with reasons. You were in that car because you were supposed to be in that car in that moment. Moreover, why in that red car, because it was supposed to be in that red car.
I am sure your mind might be taken a back with a lot of questions like what non-sense. But that is okay, mind always rejects the ideas which are beyond its logic. And logic comes from our own experience of life.
Did we ever question our logic?
Mind will argue– ‘Reasons are the purpose with which we are doing things.’ So do I mean not to have a purpose?
The answer is a Big NO!
Purpose is the primary factor of all the creation and success. However, the ‘Reasons‘ that we have as a thought in our mind is not allowing us to give our 100% in that moment.
It is like driving a car. You don’t think of destination all the time. You just focus on the road that you are in now.
There are people who focus on destination more and tend to meet with accidents just because of their absent mindedness.
The point is to start with a purpose and continue the journey in that direction with out having the thoughts of ‘reasons‘.
Moreover, it is like- you are eating because your are eating, you are walking because you are walking.
What exactly will happen by practicing this Acceptance?
You will naturally live in the Present moment all the time. And enjoy every damn little things like you used to do in your childhood.
Further, you don’t need to believe in me blindly.
Experiment it for few days and do comment and share your experience on how the power of Acceptance changed your life.
Due to this power of Acceptance, you will become a powerful Magnet and start to attract all the good things.
That is, Life will transform to be in harmony with the nature.
