In short, anything outside your body is temporary source of happiness and anything inside is permanent.

How to find the source of Happiness?
Now, that we understand the true source of happiness lies inside you, it is easy to be happy alone.
But how to find that source inside your body.
For that, there is a practice of ‘who am I?’ meditation.
Firstly, you need to understand that this source cannot be found through theoretical knowledge.
In other words, you need to practically experience this.

'Who am I?' Meditation:
Sit in a cross-legged posture, with spine comfortable and erect. If needed use backrest but no headrest.
Keep hands upon your thighs, with your palms facing upwards.
With your face slightly upturned, eyes closed, keep a mild focus on your breath.
Inhale and exhale gently and slowly.
Give your 100% energy of focus to your every breathe.
Practice this for 5 minutes and then slowly ask yourself – ‘Who am I?’
And then just be with that question in the essence of calmness.
Don’t try to force or try to hurry to get the answer.
Just relax and scan your body starting from toe to head.
And here the intention is to find your true self.
Once the scanning is complete, ask the golden question again.
Continue this process for 7 minutes.
Be very patient throughout the process.
To clarify, this true self is the ultimate source of how to be happy alone.
Whenever you feel moved from happiness feeling, all you need to do is bring your focus to that point or source.
